Bring the production, scene and take into view at the start of a recording with this white acrylic clapperboard. The Black clapper sticks carry colored diagonal stripes, with a moving upper stick joined at the left by a three-screw metal hinge plate. Printed spaces provide room for production, director, camera and date information alongside the main roll, scene and take fields. The board measures approximately 30 by 25 cm, or 11.81 by 9.84 inches, with a slate thickness of about 3 mm, or 0.12 inch. Write the required details on the dry-erase surface using a suitable marker, then position the board so the information is visible to the camera. Open and close the upper stick with fingers clear of the hinge and meeting edges. Keep the fields concise so the take information is easy to read within the frame. One clapperboard is included; markers, microphones, cameras and other studio props are excluded. Wipe the writing area after the session, remove loose grit before cleaning and store the board with the upper stick closed to protect the hinge from unnecessary strain.
