A practical starting point
Build around
your everyday kit.
Start with the camera and lens you actually use. Then choose the space around them.
- 01 / Measure the whole setup
- Include caps, hoods and grips. Exterior dimensions tell you what fits in a bag; interior dimensions tell you what fits in a case.
- 02 / Give each item a place
- An insert separates a small kit. A wrap folds around one shape. A lens case keeps a compatible lens together inside your bag.
- 03 / Know the limits
- Soft organization is not certified impact protection. A rain cover is not an underwater housing. Check the details before you head outside.
Our point of view
The photograph
comes first.
Some of the most useful things in a camera bag never appear in a photograph. They keep a lens within reach, give small equipment its own space and make packing a little more deliberate.
Archer Thompson focuses on those pieces. Clear measurements, useful construction and a small collection you can understand at a glance. More attention on what you carry, so there is more attention left for what you see.
About Archer Thompson
How do I choose between an insert, a wrap and a lens case?
Choose the insert to organize several small pieces in a compatible bag, the wrap for a flexible layer around one item, or the compact case to separate a small lens. These serve different jobs. Compare your equipment with the measurements on each product page before choosing.
Will these accessories fit my camera brand?
Fit depends on the actual body, lens, caps, hood and any attached grip. We do not claim universal compatibility with a camera brand or model. Measure the complete setup and compare it with the selected accessory. Ask us if a required measurement is missing.
Are cameras, lenses, tripods or bags included?
No. The sale includes only the accessory and the components listed on its product page. Cameras, lenses, tripods, canvas totes and notebooks in photographs show context or scale and are not included.
What is the difference between interior and exterior dimensions?
Exterior measurements describe the space the accessory occupies in your bag. Interior measurements describe usable space where supplied. Padding, dividers, seams and a fitted cap can reduce the room available. Never use an exterior measurement as proof that equipment will fit.
What are your customer service hours?
Customer service is available Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (America/New_York). We usually reply within one business day. The order cutoff is 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday to Friday; this is not a same-day dispatch guarantee.
How do I track an order?
Use Track My Order with your order reference and the email used for the order. Access is verified before private order information is shown. Tracking depends on the carrier events recorded for the order; a label alone does not establish that a parcel has been collected.
