Inspect a small area of a photographic print with this compact folding loupe. Its Black enameled metal frame uses three hinged plates to hold a circular glass lens above an open viewing base. Pale measurement ticks line the inner base opening, and a round opening in the upright plate forms part of the open frame. The lens measures approximately 14.3 mm, or 0.56 inch, across, above a viewing area of about 13 mm square, or 0.51 inch square. Open the hinged frame and place the flat base over the section of the print you want to inspect. Look through the lens above the opening and move the base carefully between sections, keeping the print on a level surface. The small footprint suits close checks of fine lines, print texture and other localized detail. One folding loupe is included; photographic prints, desk accessories and other scene objects are excluded. Keep grit away from the base before placing it over a print, lift it to reposition when needed and avoid touching the lens surface. Fold the frame gently for storage and remove dust with a soft lens cloth.
